Domain Names
What Are They?
A domain name is your website’s address on the internet. It’s similar to having a postal address, so no two websites can have the same domain name. Once you register a name it’s yours until you allow it to expire.
Why Do You Need Them?
It’s extremely important to choose the right domain name for your business. Using your business’ name is the most common choice, but it can also be beneficial to register domain names that contain key phrases and keywords that people might use on search engines to find someone like you.
I can help you setup and register any domain name you want (as long as it’s available) for a small fee. I can also offer help and advice on the best type of domain name to suit your needs, which domain names might be most effective, and whether you will benefit from purchasing multiple domains e.g. both .com and .co.uk.
How Much Do They Cost?
I charge a fixed renewal and registration fee of £20/year each for co.uk domains and £30/year for .com (some more unique domains such as .uk.com cost a little more). Domain names can also be included as part of my monthly management packages so that you only have a single monthly fee which covers all of your annual service renewals.
If you'd like to discuss getting a domain name registered, or you’d like to look into transferring your current domain name over to me to manage for you, then please fill out the form on this page.
